Registration for TRAIL 2022 is closed

We are fully booked and look forward to live interactions.

Registration fees, payable by PayPal or direct bank transfer (SEPA), for the meeting are:

  • regular participants: €245
  • student participants: €105

The registration fee inlcudes two nights accomodation at YH Proteus in rooms for 2 or 3 people, two breakfasts, three lunches, one dinner, coffee breaks, admission to all sessions, and administrative costs. Dinner on Thursday will be an international potluck where everyone brings food and drink from their region.

Please bring your laptop to the workshops!

If want to arrive a day early or extend your stay, contact the hostel directly at recepcija.sgls@guest.arnes.si. Do not forget to mention that you are coming to TRAIL, otherwise you will get the answer “We are fully booked”.

The nearest airports are Ljubljana, Trieste, and Venice (Leonardo da Vinci and Treviso). We recommend that you book your transfer from Trieste or Venice with https://prevozi-anja.si/. Their WatsApp and Viber is +38630212200. Tell them you are coming to TRAIL or use “Postojna TRAIL” if you write.

COVID-19 / Health information

The Government of Slovenia issues information regarding COVID-19. A brief summary is provided below. The measures are likely to change so please check back to the official website regularly. We will inform you in case of important changes

Both for EU citizens and especially for non-EU citizens we recommend the Re-open EU app. It is provided by the European Union to help you plan your travels, including regulations in case of transit. It is available in GooglePlay and AppStore. We recommend that you follow the advice and double check the regulations before departure. They have more information than we do.

Entry into Slovenia

As of 19 February 2022, restrictions due to Covid-19 no longer apply when entering Slovenia. This means that the RVT (recovered/vaccinated/tested) condition no longer has to be met at the border and travellers will no longer be ordered to quarantine at home.

Preventive measures

Wearing a mask is no longer required. It is important to maintain a cough hygiene, wash and disinfect your hands as often as possible, and self-isolate in case of symptoms of a respiratory infection.

Cancellation Policy:
  • Registration fees are not refundable in case of no attendance.
  • If the event is cancelled due to the pandemic situation, the registration fees will be refunded minus bank transfer fees.
